Do you love to dribble, pass, drive to the basket, shoot, and score? Want to improve the skills that are fundamental to your game? Reston Youth Basketball League (RYBL) is pleased to offer a special skills clinic for girls featuring Coach Christy Scott, the varsity girls coach at South Lakes High School. Under Coach Scott, South Lakes went to the Virginia state tournament last year and is poised for another terrific season this year.
This special clinic is aimed at girls in the house and travel program who want to take their game to the next level. Coach Scott is an outstanding teacher of the game, and girls who attend this clinic will see demonstrations and gain hands-on experience in a variety of offensive and defensive skills needed to play a highly competitive level.
Who? Reston area 5th - 8th graders with prior basketball experience (such as House League, Travel, AAU, basketball camp)
When: Saturday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon
Where: Langston Hughes Middle School gym
Cost: No fee will be charged to attend but donations to RYBL are welcome.
