Uno Seeks Help to Send Pizza to Patriots

Restaurant has goal of shipping 10,000 pizza to soldiers.

and the non-profit Pizza4Patriots are teaming up in Operation Pizza Bowl, an effort to send 10,000 pizzas to servicemen and women to enjoy on Super Bowl Sunday.

Uno locations, including the one at Reston Town Center, are selling coupon books. During the month of December, patrons can purchase the book for $5 and receive $50 worth of coupon savings.

Proceeds from the sale of the coupon books go towards Operation Pizza Bowl.

 Uno has supported Pizzas4Patriots in shipping over 50,000 pizzas to troops at various times of the year since 2009. That translates to over 400,000 slices served to more than 200,000 soldiers).   

 “Uno has made support of our troops – active or retired – and their families a consistent focus, whether donating pizzas to local VA Hospitals, offering  major discounts for Military Appreciation weeks or helping to raise funds for organizations that support our men and women in uniform,” says UNO CEO Frank Guidara. “We feel strongly about taking care of those who protect and defend our freedom.”
