The sunshine, a slight breeze, a refreshing beverage...ahhhh....with the weather warming up, it's nice to get outdoors after Northern Virginia's crazy winter, especially dining al fresco at lunchtime. 

Dining outdoors is not without its adventures. A week or so ago, a rascally raccoon came up to a diner at an outdoor restaurant in Alexandria and proceeded to nip at one of the patrons. And our feathered friends always seem to want a bite of something.
