Reston Rivals: The Frozen Four

Review your fave ice cream shop and win.

where Reston Patch readers reviewed local cupcake shops, was a huge success with more than 100 readers weighing in on their favorites.

This week's topic: Frozen treats.

The Frozen Four: and (we'll get to frozen yogurt another week).

Here's how to play: Click on the blue link of your favorite (above). That will take you to the Patch Places business listing for the store.

At the bottom of that page, there is a space to write a review. Write a few lines about what you like about the Reston location: your favorite flavor, the staff, why you like the ice cream, whatever you want.

The listing that has the most reviews by noon on Sunday, July 24 will be declared the winner.

One random reviewer from that list will win a $50 gift card to Reston Town Center.

Official Patch contest rules

Remember, go to the Patch Places pages for the ice cream shops - don't write your review here.

Good luck and thanks for playing!

Milwaukee Custard on Elden Street IS the best!

Thanks, folks, but Milwaukee Custard is in Herndon. We're looking for Reston.

I think Herndon just has better ice cream. I make the trip to Milwaukee Custard or Cold Stone Creamery.

Love, love love pitango, the flavors are fresh and inventive...my favorite is the chocolate chip, the lemon, the chocolate, the raspberry, could go on and on. It';s sooooooo good!

The only ice cream better than Milwaukee Custard's is the vanilla ice cream from Costco. But even though Milwaukee C. is in Herndon, it's the best.
