Reston Resident Opens Women's Fashion Boutique in Vienna

The clothing is for women who want to look great — who don't want to dress like their teenagers or their moms.

LiLi The First, a new fashion shopping destination, recently opened its doors to Northern Virginia fashionistas in Vienna.

The boutique, at 101 Pleasant St. NW next to Marco Polo restaurant, is introducing international and American emerging designers and fulfills the desire for some European fashion flare. The clothing collections are exclusive, versatile and sophisticated, available in small quantities and a wide selection of sizes, with new items arriving weekly.

The jewelry and accessory collections are unusual yet timeless. The boutique aspires to create a memorable shopping adventure by offering a combination of exceptional fashion with a unique shopping environment and service.

According to Reston resident Ifat Pridan, LiLi The First’s owner: “Wearing a unique dress or accessory is announcing you are a unique woman. I am giving women the opportunity and choice, to make a fashion statement and stand out with a classic chic look. Each and every one of us should be the first in her own eyes, just like LiLi."

The name of the boutique comes from Ifat's nickname, Lili. She said she adopted the name after moving to the United States 17 years ago from Israel. The name Lili, she said, is easier for people to remember, especially when she's ordering at Starbucks or making a dinner reservation.

As the mother of two daughters, she said she wants to appeal to women just like her who don't want to dress like a teenager ("not too short, not too tight") but also don't want to dress like their own mothers.

The boutique will be hosting a grand opening event on Thursday, May 1, from 6-8 p.m., when guests will enjoy appetizers served by Bazin’s on Church restaurant, wine and live music. Details can be found on the boutique web site: www.LiLiTheFirst.com and on the Facebook page: www.facebook.com/LiLiTheFirst
