New locally-owned Thai restaurant takes former Greenberry's space.
Hibiscus Thai opens its doors for eat-in and takeout customers on Monday.

Owner Kenny Zweibon says it was the dream of his wife, Jessica, who has worked for other area Thai restaurants for 20 years, to have her own business.

So the Zweibons gave the former coffee shop a good makeover - creating a light, bright space with colorful artwork, a full bar and an outdoor dining patio.
"We spent about three years looking for a good location," says Zweibon, who will also keep his day job at he Army and Airforce Mutual Aid Association in Reston. "We feel we got a great location, a great architect and a great contractor.

Hibiscus Thai is offering 20 percent off your meal from Monday through Saturday this week. Discount excludes alcoholic beverages.
