The firm paid Angelo Gordon & Co. and Atlantic Realty Co. $97.5 million for the shopping center, according to a report by the Washington Business Journal.
The Sunset Hills Road location features a Whole Foods; the grocery store, according to the report, recently renewed its lease for 15 years.

Based in New York, TIAA-CREF is reportedly the leading retirement provider for people who work in the academic, research, medical and cultural fields.
