Endless Cup Coffee House at UUCR Presents Jonah Knight

Jonah Knight plays Paranormal Modern Folk.
After years in a touring boys choir, high school rap group, a second rate grunge
band, and graduating with a minor in music from the University of South Dakota,
Jonah began performing modern folk in 2008. He was not an overnight success.

After almost two years of writing and performing songs that he wasn’t connecting with, he stopped to
reassess. He realized that although he had been a fan of science fiction, fantasy, and paranormal stories all of
his life, he had never written songs that reflected that.

He started writing songs about ghosts, monsters, superheroes, and space travel in 2010 and now,
two years later, he has found his niche, performing regularly at science fiction conventions throughout
the mid-Atlantic region. He recently released his fifth album, The Age Of Steam: Strange
Machines, an exploration of supernatural steampunk.
