Endless Cup Coffee House at Unitarian Universalist Church of Reston

Every month (second Friday) the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reston (UUCR) in association with the Songwriter's Association of Washington (SAW) hosts an evening of live music and poetry readings. The first half of the evening (8-9) consists of "open mike" music and poetry performances. The second half (9-10) is when the "featured performer" takes the stage to share their songs and stories with the audience.

(Your very lucky) Friday, April 13 – Catch rising songwriter star Spencer Joyce on his inevitable climb to the top. Other writers frequent Spencer’s web page for inspiration and sheer listening pleasure. In the business, he’s already developing a reputation as a writers’ writer. Take this opportunity to hearthe influence of John Lennon, Noel Gallagher,Billy Joe Armstrong and John Mayer filtered through the out loud, sweet compositions of  a finely attuned young mind of our times.  What’s the consensus from these other  writers visiting Spencer’s page? The same  thing I’m telling you: “Great Music”. Hear this rich voice share the songs and you’ll be  telling your friends who missed it the next day that they lost out on experiencing genuine greatness.
