Art in the Parks: Fairfax Symphony Percussion Duo

“OTO Percussion Duo” is the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra’s introduction to the percussion instruments that are the underpinning for the orchestra’s music. 

Drums, the xylophone and other instruments lead children on a journey through "Percussion Around the World." 

With music ranging from Mozart to Ragtime, the Percussion Duo demonstrates how percussion forms the rhythmic foundation of the orchestra.
