What's Up With That?

Will patrons have to pay to park at Reston Town Center?

Many patrons of have seen new card readers being installed at the entrance to the parking garage next to (Democracy Drive and Library Street) and have asked if they are going to have to pay to park there sometime soon.

The answer is no, says Jay Seidenstricker of Boston Properties, the developer that owns that side of RTC.

Seidenstriker says the card readers are being put in place for employee parking purposes. Currently, only people who work in the adjacent building can enter that lot to park there between 6 and 10 a.m. That will continue to be the case, only employees will now have card access.
