Where/When? r on Friday, July 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Why Go? TGIF Friday - Think. Generate. Imagine. Form . The  Greater Reston Art Center, along with  interactStory theatre, invite families to play and create during this monthly event.

Where/When? Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum (Sterling) on Saturday, July 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Why go? In honor of the holiday a special temporary exhibit will feature World War I and II documents such as ration books and posters from the Museum's archival collection. In addition to the Museum's regular interactive areas families will enjoy a storytime with a flag-themed craft. Taste-tastings will be held in the gift shop with a 20% saving on all Virginia made food product during the event.

Pricing?  Adults $5.00, Seniors $4.00, Children $3.00 (Children under 2 - free)

 

Where/When? on Saturday July 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Why Go?  Join the naturalists at Walker Nature Center and help out the butterflies. Like the and the , butterfly counts help gauge the health of the natural habitats and butterfly species in our area. A light lunch will be served when the counting is done.

Where/When?on Saturday, June 2 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Why Go? Radio King Orchestra means swing and big band music, which means swinging and dancing for everyone.  Bring a friend and show off your dance moves!

Where/When? on Sunday, July 3 from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Why Go? The International Youth Orchestra, with over 100 young musicians from a dozen countries, will perform concerts around the region, including the Reston Town Center.  In their 7th year, the International Youth Orchestra give the musicans an opportunity to learn about each other's cultures and experiences and give the community  an oppotunity to appreciate the universal classical repertoire through the orchestra's concerts.
