Storm forecast for Sunday night, Monday.
The National Weather Service has upgraded its storm watch to a winter storm warning for most of Virginia and the Washington, DC metro area, with 3 to 6 inches of snow making for a miserable and dangerous morning commute.

The warning is in effect from 7 p.m. Sunday until 2 p.m. Monday.

The forecast calls for a mx of rain and snow early Sunday evening, changing to snow by mid evening. Snow is forecast to continue overnight through early afternoon.

The heaviest snow is expected after midnight and through early Monday morning. Temperatures are expected to drop to the mid to upper 20s late Sunday.

The weather service warns roads will become snow covered and slippery, especially through the morning rush hour.

Washington Dc area, only area I know of that the people think that driving on almost bald tires will get you through the snow.

I'm a little confused by this statement "The forecast calls for a mx of rain and snow early Sunday evening", is the forecast calling for a matrix algebra interpreter and numerical optimizer for structural equation modeling, an Internet Mail Exchange DNS record, or a share in Magnachip Semiconductor Corp? Got spell-check?

How about a story about the bike lanes coming to King St? http://washington.cbslocal.com/2014/03/16/alexandria-to-add-bike-lanes-on-busy-king-street/

How about next time publishing the story BEFORE the snow instead of during or after?
