RCC is partnering with the Southgate Community Center, and The Closet for a number of community service projects.

Indoor projects include making bag lunches for the sorting and organizing items from The Closet, and putting together recycling and trash enclosures for use at the basketball courts and pathways in the area of Southgate Community Center.

There will also be an outdoor project, weather permitting, cleaning up the natural areas, pathways, and hardscape surrounding the area.

When everything is done around noon, volunteers will gather together and share lunch that will be provided.

Sorting donations is for ages 13 and up. Children 12 and younger are welcome to participate in the other projects, but they must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older.
