Nicholas "Nico" Landenburg has done it again. Fishing with his father, Tom, last weekend on Reston's Lake Audubon, the two reeled in an even larger bass than the one Patch featured last year.

What a whopper!

Go to the Reston Association site to find out more about fishing on Reston's lakes.

Have any great "Life on the Lake" photos? Email them to Mary Ann Barton at maryann.barton@patch.com.

Great, encouraging kids to be insensitive to animal suffering... :(

I agree with Elsa this is insensitive! This kid should be taught you buy your fish in plastic wrap or a can at Stop and Shop. Next thing you know this kid will turn into a real psycho and think it's OK to plant his own vegetables and eat them. What kind of sick world are we coming to?! This kid must be stopped before he becomes "insensitive" again. Look at that perverted smile! How dare this child get to see the whole food chain!
