Paddle Boarding Lessons OK'd on Lakes Anne, Audubon

Surfs up! The Reston Association Board of Directors voted this week to allow standup paddle board instruction on Lake Anne and Lake Audubon.

RA staff will enter into a one-year agreement with Surf Reston, LLC to use Lake Anne and Lake Audubon for standup paddle board instruction, incorporating these changes:

• Requiring Surf Reston to have insurance naming Reston Association as additional insured in the amount recommended by RA’s carrier.
• Delineating the revenue terms to be paid to RA for the use of the lakes.

And for the yoga folks, there's even better news.

The board also voted to enter into a one-year agreement with SUP-Asana to use Lake Anne for standup paddle board yoga classes. That's pending the SUP-Asana’s purchase of space at Lake Anne Village Center.
