The Reston Historic Trust and Museum elected two new members to its board of directors at its annual meeting on Thursday.
Restonians Kurt Rose and Ann Youngren will serve three-year terms on the board.
Some of the highlights of 2012 for the organization: The largest-ever Reston Home Tour, which netted more than $28,000 to benefit the historic trust; a growing number of visitors to the museum at Lake Anne Plaza; well-attended history programs on topics such as Reston and the Civil War, founder Bob Simon's Early Years and Establishing Lake Anne; and a successful Founder's Day.
