A recent grad is trying for a chance to be featured as one of American Eagle outfitters real life "Live Your Life" models.

American Eagles Outfitters is holding a contest where people submit photos of themselves wearing AE jeans and answer a few personal style questions.

Amalia Harte says she saw the query in Seventeen magazine.

"It looked like a really neat opportunity," said Harte, who graduated from South Lakes in June and is planning on a gap year before heading to University of Virginia.

Harte sent in pictures she took recently atop Sandia Peak in New Mexico.

"I had a blast on top of Sandia Peak (overlooking Albuquerque) rocking out some orange sunglasses from the South Lakes senior spirit wear package." says Harte. "I love that this campaign allows everyday people a chance to be in an advertisement showing how they live their life."

AE will choose 15 people to be in ads that will run in Spring 2013. American Eagle Outfitters will select one winner from the top 250 in each category weekly for four weeks and on the fifth week the winners will be determined by a public vote on Aug. 30. Nine women and six men will win a spot in the Spring 2013 campaign as well as a cash prize.
