Go Fly a Kite

March winds blowing in some springtime family fun this weekend.

 

Kite Day at Frying Pan Farm Park  

Where/When?  on Saturday, March 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Why Go? Build and then, go fly a kite! The perfect spring outing… plus you can stop and see the new baby animals and take a hay ride.

Pricing? Kite event is $6 for county residents and $8 for non-residents.  No Charge for admiring the new babies.

Where/When? on Saturday, March 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go? Join in a Hula Hoop contest,  try moonbounce basketball and other family activities. Fun, physical and for a good cause – plus some of the raffle prizes are awesome. Proceeds benefit and .

Pricing? Varies

Where/When?  Near on Sunday, March 27 at 9 a.m.

Why Go? This family friendly walk/run supports the Ronald McDonald House charities – great day for exercise for a good cause.

Pricing? $35 before March 26; $40 day of event  (includes  dri-fit t-shirts, timing chips and a host of goodies provided by race sponsors)

Where/When?  , 1133 Reston Ave., Herndon,  (Fellowship Hall) on Sunday, March 27 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go? Bob Brown Puppets have been a family favorite for years. Enjoy a Family Funday event at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the puppet show "Second-Hand Stars" which gives a message about Recycling.
