Five Things A Middle School Teacher Wants You To Know

Staying organized is the key to making the transition, says Langston Hughes' Leigh Handerahan.

Today's Five Things for Back to School comes from Leigh Handerahan, chair of the history department at

 

1.  Always bring pencil and paper to class.

2.  Use your DAB (daily agenda book) to record assignments.

3.  Check Blackboard regularly for assignments.

4.  Ask any questions you have during class.

5.  Stay after school for help with your teacher when you need assistance.
