PetSmart, Purina Pro Plan and Purina Tidy Cats will be holding their annual National Adoption Weekend. The event is aimed to help find thousands of pets a life-long, loving home.
PetSmart expects to place 40 to 50 pets, all of which come from rescue agencies throughout the area. There is a small fee to adopt the pets ranging from $80 to $200, depending on the pet.
The event will continue during store hours on Sunday. Nov. 13.
