The American Idol XIV Auditions Bus Tour will stop in Richmond Tuesday, July 15 for the first time ever to host open auditions.

The American Idol Tour Bus will arrive at the Virginia State Capitol, on Bank Street between 10th and 12th Street at 9 a.m. and auditions will be held until 5 p.m. Registration is anticipated to start no later than 9 a.m. and will continue throughout the day.

What to Bring to the Audition

You MUST bring two forms of ID to show proof of your age and a photograph (for example, a birth certificate and driver's license or a birth certificate and a passport or a birth certificate and a school ID card).

Everyone participating in the IDOL™ Bus Auditions must also bring a completed Personal Release. Those under the age of 18 and attending with a guardian other than your parent, a completed and NOTARIZED Guardian and Medical Authorization for Minors. After showing proper ID and submitting the necessary paperwork, you will be directed to the audition line, where you will wait your turn to audition.
