The Rabbit Run

Press Release

The first every Rabbit Run and Children’s Festival sponsored by Autism Outreach Inc; Inergix; and TLIFoundation is happening on April 6 at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center in Leesburg VA. All money raised by this event will stay in Northern Virginia. The two beneficences of this event are:

Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) Northern Virginia chapter. This organization focuses on helping parents of children with autism and therefore helping the children.

Project Lifesaver: This project is organized out of the Sherriff’s office and provides tracking devices and monitoring for individuals would may wander off and get lost. This includes children with autism or any other developmental delay and also adults with dementia or confusion.

The run/walk is organized by Potomac River Runners and is a 5k and 1k and runners can register at http://prracing.racebx.com/events/register/528de441-4968-4a22-a631654dc0a86524

All registrants will receive a commemorative tech shirt and fun after the race with festival activities which includes real bunnies, fun races and games for children, face painting and prizes including an opportunity to win tickets to a Washington Capitals game.
