Lake Anne Elementary International Walk to School Day

Lake Anne Elementary participated in International Walk to School Day by starting off with a rally at a local park.  PTA sponsored food and drink for the parents, students and staff who were able to come.  Mrs. Goddin, Assistant Principal, leads one group as they all walk to school.  Each student was given a charm they could place on their backpacks to mark their participation.  The PTA is planning to continue this event every month throughout the school year and each student will get an additional charm to add to their collections.
