Cornerstones Still Needs Backpacks for Back to School Drive

Cornerstones (formerly Reston Interfaith) needs some help.

Their annual backpack drive for needy children runs through Friday, Aug. 16. They still need backpacks and are collecting new underwear for elementary age children and gift cards to Payless Shoes to outfit Cornerstones' young clients with news shoes.

Cornerstones is partnering with Kids R First, a local volunteer organization dedicated to preparing kids for their academic futures.  

Please note: Cornerstones can only accept newly purchased backpacks; no bags with wheels or corporate logos.  Larger sized 25-30 liter size backpacks are preferred.
