Business Watch: Why Leidos Likes Reston and Who Will Invest in Reston Heights

1. It was big news last week that SAIC offshoot Leidos chose Reston Town Center for the site of its headquarters. Watch this Washington Business Journal video on the appeal of locating here.

2. Northern Virginia Restaurant Week continues through Sunday at lots of Reston Town Center locations. Click here to see what participants are offering this week. Restaurant week is sponsored by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce.

3. Speaking of restaurants, the opening of the second Community Canteen location has been delayed due to a backlog in county inspections. They are hoping for this week. Meanwhile, visit the original location at Reston Town Center.

4. Is JBG Company, the owners of Reston Heights, thinking of selling the development on Sunrise Valley Drive? Maybe, says this Washington Business Journal story. The company is also apparently looking for investors as it gets ready to embark on a large expansion.
