The Runners Marathon of Reston (RMR) consists of both a full marathon 26.2-mile event and a half-marathon 13.1-mile event. Over 600 runners from thoughout the country and Europe will participate. The course starts at South Lakes High School and runs through the roads and paths in south Reston.

South Lakes High School – home of the Seahawks – is a dynamic community school that features the renowned International Baccalaureate program.
