Presentation will include:
- Beginings of Alexandria, Loudoun and Hampshire RR
- RR line during the Civil War
- Developers Thornton, Wiehle and Bowman
- Progress and failure of W&OD
Presenters will be historians Paul McCray and Ron Beavers. Paul is a director of NVRPA and former manager of the W&OD Railroad Regional Park. Ron is an expert of Civil War era railroads. Both have given tours and spoken extensively on the W&OD RR.

More About Reston Community Center At Lake Anne
This branch of the Reston Community Center is located on the plaza at historic Lake Anne. RCC's main facility is at Hunter's Woods. This center is home to the Jo Ann Rose Gallery as well as community meeting rooms for classes and special events.
