Traditionally, Masters week has signaled the unofficial start of the golf season. But with the extremely mild winter we had, many people never stopped playing golf from last fall.
Golf is certainly not the prominent sport in this country. The Saints, Tim Tebow, Redskins draft and Peyton Manning stories have dominated the sports landscape since, well, the pro football season ended.
Does Masters week have any special significance for you? Is it must see TV? Have you played golf in the past couple of months or are you thinking about getting out in next week or two?
I, for one, am a little tired of the non-stop, 24/7 stories about a league that is in its off-season. I am ready to enjoy some fresh air and the smell of cut grass. I am ready to stretch my body and get a little exercise. I am ready to play some golf!
