We’ll have everything you need for a holiday picnic at this special market. Most of our vendors will be on site, including Heritage Farm and Kitchen, as well as Doug Linton with that great Piedmontese beef for the grill.

Atwaters Bakery will not be with us, but guest bakery Valley View Bakery will join us with breads, holiday cookies, and other sweet and savory treats for the holiday and to get you through the week. We’ll keep you updated about any other changes via Twitter and our Facebook page.

Grilling Tip

You can safely thaw sealed frozen meats such as burger patties or steaks in a bowl or pan of cool water in the sink. Just check it occasionally to replace the water to maintain the tepid temperature.

For an even faster thaw, and a safer one for large cuts, maintain a trickle of cool water into the pan or bowl to keep the water moving. This method can safely thaw packages of sausage or burger patties in 20 minutes and steaks, London broil, or brisket cuts in about 30 minutes.
