I plan my Sunday Open Houses like a football coach plans offensive play calling. I have my map, my clip board (easier to reference in the car than a tablet), and the number of moves I am going to make from beginning to end. The field this week is a two mile radius  from the Reston Town Center. Alas, this weekend's game so far looks like a punt out of the end zone. Of the 41 homes for sale only one at the Stratford house is listed as having an open house.

Of the 41 homes for sale there are plenty of different styles and prices being offered. For example, there are 7 detached homes, 14 garden style apartments, 6 hi-rise and 14 townhouses. The prices range from $180,000 for a one bed, one bath at 903 square feet to $2,999,999 for a 3 bed, 3 1/2 bath home with 4,484 square feet. Put another way that is a range of $199.34 per square foot to $669.05 per square foot. The average list price is $510,764 and the median list is $399,900.

Perhaps the weather is a factor or the fact that January is a slow month for events at the Reston Town Center.  However if you are looking to get out of the house you can enjoy two artists exhibitions at GRACE running from January 17 - February 23, 2013.
