Bright sunshine and an eager crowd greeted vendors and craftsman at the Reston Farmers Market's season opening Saturday morning.  

Favorite vendors from across the area are back to sell locally grown vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs.  Vendors also offer plenty of home-made goodies including breads, cheese, ice cream and kettle corn.  

New to the market this year is Smith Family Farms, offering natural grass-fed meats, and Fresh Crunch, selling pickles and pickled vegetables.

Reston Farmers Market is located at Lake Anne Plaza and open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays from now until October.
