The Season Will Keep Going For Many Reston Farmers Market Vendors

Oct. 29 is last official day, but you might find your favorite farmer sticking around until December anyway.

Oct. 29 marks the end of the season for the Reston Farmers Market at Lake Anne Plaza, but many of the vendors will remain on site through Dec. 3 as part of the craft market.

As a special event for the last official day of the county-sponsored Farmers Market, swing dancers will perform their version of Thriller at about 10 a.m. There will also be free apple cider and other treats to mark the last day of the market, market master John Lovaas says.

About eight to 12 vendors will sell meat, baked goods and dairy products alongside the craftspeople on the plaza at Lake Anne for five more weeks.

It would be great to get a list of the vendors who will be there after November 29!

That's a great idea. Let me check with John Lovaas and I will print that info when I get it.

Some of my favorites will be staying on! A few others will return for the December 3 market only (like the Sinplicity ice cream folks)!

Karen, in your list of vendors staying until December, do you mean Wisteria Gardens, the place with the great salsa?

Thanks so much!
