Are you kidding ? Am I too late to enter this contest . I went out today and bought four from each cupcake store . It took 90 minutes and 45 dollors SO far we have had ttwo of Red Velvet ones and my 12 year old son and his friend have rated them a ten . We are going to do a side by side taste test for dinner. Since it cost so much its going to be the main course. I will report back my resuts I have no idea why I am so excited by this .. Maybe next week could be GYROS or Frozen yogurt

I think next week will be Reston's favorite gym ;-)

2 adults cupcake lady chocolate .. NOt so much the key lime ... 12 year old male -loved red velvet . Frotsting
9 year old and 15 year edible treats one . because it was bigger and sweeter

My family & I love the cupcake ladi! We visit her shoppe at least 3 times a week. Everyday she has a unique named small cake as her feature. I have had both of the others listed, they don't compare. CCL is amazing! She is a philanthropist & humanitarian. Certified organic ingredients. We are 11 in our family, CCL's signature Kei Lime cup cake is amazing, Maybe not for a 12 year old. We ordered 4 dozen of the Kei Lime with Kei Lime custard center, I can't wait till tomorrow to pick up my special order YAY for me! By the way she has excellent customer service, she will open special for me tomorrow. Bigger & sweeter is not always better.

Couldn't have said it better bella! I think her decadent treats are responsible for a few pounds of mine :) The Cupcake Ladi is a wonderful person as is her husband and extended "family"...Grade A in my book!!

I am not a fan of Red Velvet...their cupcakes have a "week old" taste to them....on top of the fact that they are way overpriced. I think the cupcakes they sell are not worth $40 a dozen....

Congrats CCL! I went in to the shop on Saturday & bought 4 cupcakes (variety) & a belgian cookie & though it was a little pricey - the products were DELICIOUS!! You deserve the title & the business that comes with it. I LOVED the moo moo one & my husband LOVED the smores. In reality though, they were all fantastic!

Having seen all the the publicity in the Reston Patch I had to give your cupcakes a try.....I too was not impressed with the Red Velvet cupcake and while good the family voted that mine were way better for the price. The boys and I went late Sunday evening and let me tell you that while it is hard to find, your store has some fabulous stuff!! My oldest chose the gelato and is now hooked, while my other son and I opted to take our Moo Moo cupcakes home. Once there, we opened the container and admired the stash.....before I blinked my oldest had already inhaled half of my cupcake before my husband could even ask for a sample.......needless to say, I will be back for more cupcakes and have tried to spread the word on where you are and that you now offer gelato!! Thanks Reston Patch for letting us know you were there......
