South Lakes' Lanigan Still Reeling From False Accusation

Sean Lanigan, a Herndon native and longtime soccer coach, tells The Washington Post about the spriral of events that have occured since he was falsely accused of molestation by a student last year.

A jury acquitted Lanigan of all charges. However, the damage to his reputation and life has been costly for him and his family, he says.

FCPS transferred Lanigan, a physical education teacher, to t the start of this school year and he says he will be transferred again for the 2011-12 school year. His Herndon team is undefeated and the top-ranked boys soccer team in the area.
