South Lakes' Boys Lacrosse Falls On Senior Night

Seahawks' home schedule ends with an 8-3 loss to James Madison.

The South Lakes boys' lacrosse team ended their 2013 home schedule Monday night with a 8-3 Senior Night loss to the James Madison Warhawks, dropping the Seahawks to 5-5 for the year.

Despite opening the scoring late in the first period, South Lakes went to halftime down 4-2 and could not close further as James Madison scored the only three goals of the fourth period for the final margin.

South Lakes has two road games left in the season, at McLean and Langley, before the Liberty District Tournament begins May 3rd.

Prior to Monday's game, the Seahawks honored graduating seniors and their familes in a brief ceremony.
