A Reston driver was charged with reckless driving Monday after an early morning accident on Lawyers Road.

The circumstances of the crash were not immediately available, but Gotthardt said he was told it was a head-on collision.

The driver of the 1999 Mercedes was transported via medevac to a local hospital, initially with life-threatening injuries, Gotthardt. As of 3:30 p.m., the injuries had been upgraded to non-life threatening.
