The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament continues today, and if you have a bracket, it's likely busted.

But cheer up: Two nearby teams are still in the running. The Georgetown Hoyas are poised for a run that could get them farther into March Madness than they've been since at least 2007, and VCU destroyed Akron on Thursday to advance into the next round.

Full television schedule of 2013 NCAA March Madness.

The Bleacher Report says a Georgetown run to the Final Four in Atlanta "doesn't seem unfathomable" but the site stops short of anointing the Hoyas champions. It predicts March Madness for the Hoyas will begin with a victory over Florida Gulf Coast in their opener Friday and continue with a dismantling of San Diego State before a loss to Florida.

Georgetown is the No. 2 seed in the South Region. The Hoyas play Florida Gulf Coast at 6:50 p.m. Friday in Philadelphia.

Most predictions and Las Vegas odds for the 2013 NCAA Tournament champion favor Louisville.

What nobody predicted Thursday: Harvard ousted New Mexico in the biggest bracket buster so far.

While workers across the country make predictions and watch to find out if their teams go on to win, U.S. companies stand to lose at least $134 million in “lost wages” in just the first two days of the tournament alone, The Huffington Post reports. A study says an estimated 3 million American workers will spend one to three hours a day during work watching tournament.
