A memorial service for Frederick Naef, one of the early presidents of the Reston Homeowners Association, will be held at 1 pm. on Saturday, Jan. 26 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reston 

Naef, 76, of Reston, died earlier this week of injuries sustained in a Dec. 26 car accident near McLean.

Naef led the association, the predecessor to Reston Association, from April to September 1971.  

In lieu of flowers, and as an expression of Naef's lifelong pursuit of learning, the family suggests a donation to an educational institution of your choice.
