Ken Plum's New Slogan: 'Abracadabra'

It was standing room only to see Ken the Magician (aka Virginia Del.  Ken Plum) perform his magic at in Reston Wednesday.

As part of a store fundraiser for the Preschool, Ken the Magician enthralled dozens of kids and their parents with balloon tricks, magic wands and mysterious boxes. 

"Magic is a lifetime hobby," said Plum.  "When I was in the third or fourth grade in my hometown of Shenandoah, VA, a magician visited our school and I was hooked."

So how does performing magic compare to Plum's day  job of representing Reston in the Virginia General Assembly?

"Both require a bit of a sleight of hand," he said.
