It's (Almost) Skating Season

Sandy delays opening for Reston Town Center's outdoor ice skating rink.

 

Reston Town Center's pavillion ice skating rink was set to open for the season on Thursday, but storm-related delays have pushed the start date back a few days.

RTC management says they hope to have the skating rink ready to open Saturday.

On Saturday and Sunday, the rink will host its annual Character Counts! fundraiser, where 50 percent of ticket proceeds will benefit Character Counts! a school character education program.

Ice skates and other supplies are available inside the Skate Shop directly beside the Pavilion (behind Clyde's).

Admission Rates:

Adults - $9.00
Children under 12 - $7.00
Senior citizens (55 & up) - $7.00
Skate rentals (figure & hockey) - $5.00
Season pass – individual - $175.00
Season pass – family of 4 - $375.00
Discount card (10 admissions) - $65.00
 
Hours of Operation:

Sunday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Monday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Thursday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Friday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
