IPAR Honors Three at Annual Reception

Members recognized for public art efforts at Initiative for Public Art Reston's annual reception.

The Initiative for Public Art Reston (IPAR) gave special recognition at its annual fundraiser on Thursday to three of its members for their significant impact on the organization.

Honored by IPAR were Sally Brodsky, who is heading the efforts to install a memorial garden of reflection in Reston, a locale without a cemetery; Robert Goudie, who helped move forward the public art project at Hyatt Park at Reston Town Center; and Ken Knueven, the Reston Association president, for his participation in various committees.

IPAR Board Chair and President Joe Ritchey said at the reception at Midtown that public art has always been important in Reston.
