Giving Circle of HOPE To Honor 2012 Grantees

The philanthropic group awarded 10 $5,000 grants to local organizations.

The Giving Circle of Hope was founded in Reston in 2004 Members donate money, but also make decisions in how it is spent.  Members seek to make a difference in the community by contributing their time, talents, and money to projects which encourage self-sufficiency and well-being among people in need in Northern Virginia.

Grantees will have more information about their mission at Friday's event. The 2012 grantees are:

  • Empowered Women International
  • Grace Ministries
  • Herndon-Reston FISH
  • Jeanie Schmidt Free Clinic
  • Just Neighbors
  • Manassas Midwifery
  • PROSPERA Initiatives
  • Stop Child Abuse Now (SCAN)
  • The Brain Foundation
