Partly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Happy ending (update from a neighbor of mine):
They found the caretakers. A young girl was caring for the dog and it got away. They live up near Hunter's Woods School!!! The people on the corner who found him called the Shelter and someone had called looking for the dog. They called the caretaker family who came to get him. He was a sweetie---I would have taken him home in a minute! His name was Marley. Happy ending!
As the proud owner of this dog Harley, I am very thanful to these wonderful people who not only found the sixth member of our family, but held him for us in their home and did not call animal control. It is moments like this that remind me of the great sense of community we have here in Reston. Thanks to all parties!
