Forest Edge Hires New Principal
Kim Price will move to Reston school from Wolftrap ES in Vienna.
announced on Friday that Kim Price, assistant principal at in Vienna, is the school's new principal.
Price starts the new job July 1. She replaces after a long career with FCPS and 21 years at Forest Edge.
Price began her FCPS career in 1994 as a Fairfax Professional Development Academy Intern at Sunrise Valley Elementary School.

From 1995-2003, she was a teacher, and in 2003, became a Lead Fairfax Administrative Intern at Lemon Road Elementary School. Price ‘s administrative career began in 2004, as an assistant principal at Cunningham Park Elementary School. She moved to Wolftrap Elementary School as an assistant principal in 2008.
Price earned her Bachelor of Science degree at California State University, her Master’s degree at Marymount University, and her Administrative Endorsement at the University of Virginia.
