Stop by to take care of DMV tasks without leaving the neighborhood.
Been meaning to renew your driver's license or auto registration but dreading a trip to the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles?
Then mark your calendar - the DMV 2 Go mobile unit will be at Reston Town Center on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The unit will be parked by the pavilion.
DMV 2 Go is a fleet of mobile offices that bring services to communities. It offers a full slate of services, including:
- Apply for or renew your ID card - available for adults and children.
- Apply for or renew your driver's license - take road and knowledge tests; get your picture taken. Reinstate driving privileges.
- Apply for a Veteran ID card.
- Get a copy of your driving record.
- Obtain vehicle titles, license plates, decals, transcripts.
- Order disabled parking placards or plates.
- Get fishing and hunting licenses.
- Recently moved? If so, stop in to update your address on your DMV record. You can also update your voter registration address and organ donor status.
- Request a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to set up a myDMV account - receive DMV notices via email or phone; conduct secure transactions on the DMV website.
- Search for other state services through a wireless Virginia Internet portal.

It mentioned that you can update your Voter Registration here. VOTER REGISTRATION. Update your voter registration so you can get a new Voter Registration card and go RIGHT to your polling place on election day!! AND VOTE Nov 6th.

That would have been good for one of the empty spaces in these other shopping centers. It is such a pain to park at Reston Town Center. It would have been nice if they had put it in a place with ample (and easy) parking. But I'm sure for those that live or work right there it will be useful. I will keep driving out to Chantilly.
