Police: Reston Victim's Husband Found Dead

Police say husband of Jennifer Lynne Pearson, pregnant with the pair's child, apparently committed suicide in Texas.

Update, Wednesday 5:30 pm

News4 Washington is identifying the man dead in Texas as Timothy Connor, 31, of Reston.

The Washington Post reports that deputies in Bandera County, Tex., where Connor's mother and stepfather live, were alerted that Connor may have fled there Monday.

Officials in Texas found Connor's car and followed Connor to his mother’s house, The Post reported. Police in Texas said Connor pulled into his mother’s driveway and shot himself in the head in front of deputies.

News4 spoke with Pearson's sister, Sarah, who said Jennifer Pearson had been married less than a year and that she was five months pregnant when she was killed.

Original story, Tuesday 10:30 a.m. - Fairfax County Police say the husband of Jennifer Lynne Pearson - the pregnant Reston woman who was apparently killed before her apartment was set on fire Monday - has been found dead in Texas.

The husband, whose name has not yet been released, apparently committed suicide Tuesday in Bandera County, Texas.

Police said the husband resided in the apartment where Pearson was found. Officials are investigating his death as an apparent suicide.

"Detectives investigating the homicide do not feel there is a public safety threat and are not searching for any suspects in this case," FCPD said in a statement.

Police are continuing to investigate the homicide.

Pearson, 38, was found dead at the scene when Fairfax County Firefighters were called to her apartment about 6:15 a.m. Monday after a neighbor reported smelling smoke.

Firefighters broke down the door of the apartment at 12002 Waterside View Dr. #22, where they found a contained fire and Pearson's dead body.

Police said she had trauma to the upper body, including stab wounds, according to a search warrant.

I agree with you but let's know the facts first. We loved Jennifer and Tim.
No one should die like that and so young. My heart goes out to both of the parents and pray for both of them. I will pray for Jennifer and her parents my heart is sick with pain. God bless you Jennifer! I am sorry

@Richard Rector, how can you say we need the facts? A woman and her unborn child are dead at the hands of this no-good waste of life. Not to mention, he was facing 8, yes 8, charges related to him sexually abusing a child between 2008 and 2012 in Maryland! So he brutally murders a woman and unborn child, and likely ruined the life of another child whom he was raping for 4 years...and we need the facts? I would be ashamed to be associated with the upbringing of such a worthless piece of human.

Above comment from Jen directed towards Mr.Rector is just plain mean.A parent is not responsible for a grown child's actions.Obviously many family members are grieving, but no need to place blame on the killers father.
My heart goes out to the surviving family members and the mother and unborn child.

Tim, I hate you. You have ruined so many lives by taking two you had no right to take. The one I wish you had taken was your own. As far as I am concerned, there can be NO salvation for you. There is no excuse for what you did while you were alive. That goes for molesting your daughter and killing your second wife and son. I can't even bring myself to pray for your forgiveness because you don't deserve it. I hope you are burning in hell and that you are experiencing agony that is a million times that of the agony you caused here.
