Coming Soon: Zoes Kitchen at Plaza America
Fast casual Meditteranean place will take over Baja Fresh's old spot.
Reston will soon have another restaurant choice.
An outlet of the franchise chain Zoes Kitchen will be opening soon at Plaza America. The restaurant will take over the spot at 11690 Plaza America Dr., the former location of a Baja Fresh.
Zoes Kitchen, which has stores in Arlington and Fairfax, specialized in salads, wraps, pita sandwiches, homemade soups and other relatively healthy options.
The Reston location has a target opening date of late December or early January, a company spokesman said.

Strangest layout. You walk in the front door and have to scoot around people dining to get to the counter. Very inconvenient; Fairfax location is set up so much more easier to navigate. I went when there weren't many people (as evidenced by 6 employees greeting me...overkill?) and can't imagine how it will be when the tables are filled. Don't think it will be worth it..food is good but not that good....

Susan, thank you for your comment and a chance to serve you. We are a casual, quick service restaurant that recently opened last week. I am sorry you feel that the layout of the restaurant is very inconvenient. We had a promotional table set up in the front of the restaurant and it seems that some guests walked in towards the seating area instead of the left side where the line is formed. This may have been the case with your visit. I hope that you visit our location again and give us another shot.
