Arts Festival Offers Fun for Kids
Free activities in Children's Tent at the 21st Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival this weekend.
Art and music will work in harmony as young visitors can create music-related art projects inspired by the International Contemporary Ensemble. They can also get a preview of the many children's educational programs offered by Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE).
Some of the activities Inside the Tent:
Explore More! Art Buckets - Explore More! is GRACE's educational program tied to the exhibitions in the GRACE gallery aimed at younger children.

GRACE Art Artist Trading Cards - GRACE Art is our art education outreach program in area schools that reaches over 22,000 area children. Create your very own Artist Trading Cards. Keep them for yourself or trade with others. Learn more about bringing this great program to your child's school.
Summer Art Camp Musical Monsters - GRACE offers four weeks of summer art camp (taught by Doug Moulden) followed by an afternoon of Yoga, Art & Nature from Beloved Yoga. Create musical monsters using recycled CDs.
Festival Paper Bag Hats - Make a paper bag hat that will be the talk of the Festival.
