A Day for Ukuleles at Lake Anne Plaza

Second annual event fills the plaza with music.

Ukuleles were everywhere at Lake Anne Saturday for the second annual Ukulele Festival.

The all-day festival was from included performances by Del Rey, The Aloha Boys, The Sweater Set,Hoa Mele Wakinekona, and special guests Grammy Award Winning Marcy Marxer and Cathy Fink. 

Organizer Moses K. said would like to thank everyone who helped put on the festival including Lake Anne merchants, friends of Lake Anne, Reston Community Center, County of Fairfax, Port City Brewing Company, Unicorn Winery, Nova Music Center, and the House of musical traditions.
